Uniswap sees $11 million UNI accumulation as whale sells $7.32 million

Uniswap, one of the leading decentralized exchanges in the crypto sector, is currently witnessing diverging strategies from major UNI token holders. Recent blockchain data highlights that wallet 0xC374 has aggressively accumulated UNI tokens, while another large investor has started significant selling.

Major UNI purchases as accumulation continues

According to blockchain analysis platform Lookonchain, wallet 0xC374 recently added 308,517 UNI—valued at $2.13 million—to its portfolio. This movement is part of a broader accumulation pattern by the wallet, which has acquired a total of 1.32 million UNI worth $11.05 million over the past 45 days.

Lookonchain reported that wallet 0xC374 bought another 308,517 UNI just hours prior, increasing its holdings to more than 1.3 million UNI valued at over $11 million. The platform noted that these purchases form a consistent accumulation trend over the last month and a half.

Market analysts suggested that sustained buying activity from large investors can tighten short-term supply, potentially reducing the number of tokens available on the open market.

While some observers have interpreted the accumulation as a positive supply-side signal, it remains dependent on the wallet’s willingness to retain its holdings going forward.

Large UNI holder triggers selling pressure

In contrast to the ongoing accumulation, another prominent UNI holder has initiated significant sales. This wallet reportedly sold $7.32 million worth of UNI in two days after previously receiving a total of 20.32 million tokens from the Uniswap Timelock wallet more than a year ago.

Despite the recent transactions, the address continues to hold approximately 19.3 million UNI. Persistent selling from this wallet could add pressure to the token’s price and increase the available supply on exchanges.

Address records show that after unloading $7.32 million in UNI, the whale still possesses a substantial balance, with more potential sales likely if the current trend continues.

The activity from these major wallets underscores differing approaches among large UNI stakeholders—some building positions, others gradually unwinding.

UNI price trends and technical outlook

At the time of the latest report, UNI traded close to $7.03, reflecting a 1.42% daily gain and a 1.19% increase over the prior week, according to CoinGecko.

Trade volume for UNI reached roughly $303.59 million in 24 hours, signaling ongoing market interest despite conflicting whale activity.

Technical analysts remain cautious. Notably, “Crypto With Gopal” pointed to a potential head-and-shoulders formation on UNI’s one-hour price chart, identifying the $6.85 to $6.90 range as a critical support zone.

Should UNI slip below $6.85, analysts believe a drop toward $6.50 may follow. If the downward momentum continues, deeper declines could target the $5.80 level, though this remains a potential downside scenario rather than an immediate expectation.

Support/Resistance Level Implication for UNI
$7.03 (current price) Modest upward movement
$6.85–$6.90 (support) Break may trigger further decline
$6.50 (next support) Target if $6.85 breaks
$5.80 (range low) Bearish scenario

As diverging whale strategies play out, market observers are focused on whether the $6.85 support zone will hold. The outcome at this level may provide direction for UNI’s next price move.

Just bet on AI and already faced a market blow! Berkshire reports earnings tonight, Abel faces a major test in his transformation

Greg Abel has been leading Berkshire Hathaway for less than a year, yet he has already made a bet of over $10.9 billion on the AI sector, marking a complete break from Buffett’s traditional avoidance of tech stocks. However, Alphabet’s stock price has fallen below their initial purchase cost, and Bending Spoons continues to decline, putting this bold AI gamble to the test. At the same time, third-quarter earnings per share are expected to drop 6% year-over-year, and the share repurchase program is likely to plummet from $4.5 billion to $1.6 billion. How to deploy $358 billion in cash will be a major challenge for the new leader’s capital allocation skills.

Has the AI bubble burst? Goldman Sachs: It's more like 1998 than 2000 right now

The Goldman Sachs trading desk stated that the current wave of sell-offs resembles the 1998 liquidity crisis more than the bursting of the 2000 bubble. It is a forced deleveraging rather than a refutation of business fundamentals. The market is drastically repricing construction financing and timeline expectations, rather than underlying demand. Moreover, the issues currently drawing the most attention from the market—electricity and licensing—are actually the least important, as limited supply does not equate to disappearing demand. The real question that needs to be answered is whether long-term revenues can ultimately justify the capital invested.
