According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the non-farm payrolls for August were revised up from an increase of 133,000 to an increase of 186,000, an upward revision of 53,000. The non-farm payrolls for September were revised up from an increase of 29,000 to an increase of 60,000, an upward revision of 31,000. After these revisions, the combined non-farm payrolls for August and September increased by 84,000 compared to previously published data.
