Ethereum community releases proposal for "STVA Range Limited Authorization Token"
Foresight News reports that the Ethereum community has released a proposal for "STVA Scoped Permission Tokens." The proposal suggests introducing short-lived, purpose-specific, and revocable scope capability tokens for Secure Transaction Verification and Authorization (STVA). These tokens are based on EIP-712 or ERC-1271, granting only specific operational permissions (such as upgrading implementations, transfers, or installing modules), to replace broad, long-term authorizations and reduce the risk of significant value loss.
