08:52 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were higher pre-bell Wednesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) advancing by 0.6% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 0.4% higher. Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) stock was up more than 1% before the opening bell ahead of its Q3 earnings report slated to be released after market close.
