06:07 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Leading Edge Materials (LEM.V) has started work on the environmental impact assessment for the Norra Karr heavy rare earth elements project, the company said Tuesday. The development follows the Swedish government's decision to grant an exploitation concession for Norra Karr. Leading Edge is now working toward an application for an environmental permit under the Swedish Environmental Code, to be submitted in 2027.
