- ** Coca-Cola KO.N raised its annual profit (link) forecast on Tuesday, citing strong soft drink demand in markets including India and Brazil, although the company warned that cost pressures would intensify and that weak consumer demand is expected to persist through 2027.

** According to LSEG data, 27 analysts have an average rating of "Buy" on the stock, with a median target price of $97.

Cherry on top for Coke

** JPMorgan ("Overweight," target price: $98) noted that the earnings report highlights the strength of Coca-Cola's (KO) strategy—getting closer to consumers through the "Four ‘I’s" (insight, innovation, intimacy, integration), balancing affordability and premiumization, and benefiting from the strong execution of its bottling partners.

** Evercore ISI ("Outperform," target price: $100) pointed out that even in a challenging FMCG market environment, Coca-Cola continues to demonstrate its strength as a leading global beverage company.

** Morgan Stanley ("Overweight," target price: $103) said Coca-Cola's results underscore its strong organic sales growth compared to its peers and resilient pricing power, and that the negative impact from its product portfolio is expected to gradually subside.

** TD Cowen ("Buy," target price: $104) noted that Coca-Cola's bottling partners bear much of the direct cost pressure, but inflation has shifted more responsibility to the company, which now needs to leverage its global buying scale to help bottlers manage these costs.
