Diebold Nixdorf's Proposed Collaboration With Euronet Provides Integrated Alternative to NCR Atleos, Wedbush Says

11:16 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Diebold Nixdorf's (DBD) proposed global collaboration with payments infrastructure firm Euronet Worldwide (EEFT) provides an integrated offering that could potentially address rival NCR Atleos' (NATL) ability to package its network with ATM hardware, Wedbush said in a Tuesday note. Diebold Nixdorf and Euronet said Monday they entered into a non-binding letter of intent to form a global strategic collaboration delivering integrated ATM outsourcing offerings to financial institutions. The collaboration combines Diebold Nixdorf's cash recycling ATMs, software and global field services with Euronet's Ren payments processing platform, back-office infrastructure, and ATM operations expertise. Wedbush analysts said they expect that Diebold Nixdorf's incremental investment to be limited if the partnership pushes through, given the plan to build on both companies' existing infrastructure and customer relationships. The proposed collaboration is a "modest strategic positive," the analysts said. Diebold Nixdorf is set to report its Q3 financial results on Wednesday.
