BWX Technologies Unit Signs Multi-Year Deal to Produce Fuel for Antares Nuclear

09:12 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BWX Technologies (BWXT) said Tuesday its subsidiary BWXT Advanced Fuels has entered into a multi-year commercial agreement with Antares Nuclear for the production of tri-structural isotropic nuclear fuel to support Antares' advanced reactor program. The agreement includes terms for an initial allocation of 1 metric ton uranium, with the ability to increase as requirements change, according to a statement. BWX will produce the fuel at its facility in Lynchburg, Virginia, the company said. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
