West Red Lake Gold Cuts Madsen 2026 Production Guidance to 27,000-32,000 Ounces
Bitget2026/10/27 09:30- West Red Lake Gold cuts 2026 Madsen gold production guidance to 27,000-32,000 ounces from 35,000-45,000 ounces.
- The revision reflects underground labor shortages and the mine’s ongoing production ramp-up; difficult remnant mining also constrained quarterly mining rates.
- Third-quarter gold production totaled 7,859 ounces versus 8,576 ounces in the second quarter, bringing year-to-date output to 22,102 ounces.
- A newly commissioned secondary crusher supports mill processing capacity of up to 1,000 tonnes per day.
- An integrated Madsen-Rowan prefeasibility study is expected in coming weeks, outlining a combined production plan using Madsen’s mill as the processing hub.
