Eurozone Bond Yields Mixed, French Bonds Stable in Opening Trade -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/10/27 07:270727 GMT - Eurozone government bond yields trade mixed at opening, with French yields stable and German yields lower. French bonds rallied Monday, pushing yields lower, after Moody's Ratings kept its credit rating on France unchanged with a negative outlook. "Overall, we doubt that the market will find a new direction ahead of the major central bank meetings later in the week," Commerzbank's Christoph Rieger says in a note. Markets await monetary-policy decisions from the Federal Reserve on Wednesday and the European Central Bank on Thursday, which are both expected to leave interest rates unchanged. The 10-year German Bund yield falls 1.1 basis points to 3.347%, while the 10-year French OAT yield edges up 0.1 basis point to 4.917%, according to Tradeweb. (emese.bartha@wsj.com)
