Intel to Acquire Classiq to Build Quantum Computing Platform

05:19 PM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Intel (INTC) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire quantum computing software provider Classiq to develop a full-stack quantum computing platform, the company said Monday. The combination would integrate Classiq's quantum software with Intel's silicon spin-qubit technology and semiconductor manufacturing capabilities. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
