Lode Gold Resources Starts Exploration Work at Fremont Gold Mine in California

12:44 PM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lode Gold Resources (LOD.V) started exploration work at its Fremont Gold Mine in Mariposa County, California, to evaluate additional gold potential, it said Monday. The company is expanding its evaluation to include all seven deposits and nine additional exploration targets, it said. "Our main deposit, Pine Tree-Josephine, has an unusual triangular shape, and we have yet to drill-test its potential mirror-image extension," said Chief Executive Officer Wendy Chan. "Three deep step-out holes, reaching depths of up to 1,300 metres, intersected mineralized structures. We are actively advancing the project and expect to provide further news over the next 30 to 90 days." The company's shares last traded Oct. 23, closing at CA$0.24 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
