Rogers Communications Outlook Supported by Cash Generation, Debt Reduction, RBC Says

11:32 AM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rogers Communications (RCI) should benefit from strong cash generation and debt reduction, while regulatory headwinds and slow subscriber growth appear contained, RBC Capital Markets said in a note emailed Monday. Rogers posted in-line Q3 results, with cable revenue up for a sixth straight quarter, and RBC lowered its wireless and internet subscriber growth assumptions slightly, according to the note. RBC sees the stock as an attractive entry point as free cash flow pays down debt and the dividend payout stays below 30% of free cash flow, the investment firm said. Regulatory fee cuts masked underlying wireless improvement, and Rogers will keep its focus on higher-value main brand customers even at the expense of subscriber growth, the note added. RBC kept the company's outperform rating and 58 Canadian dollars ($41.39) price target. Price: 32.64, Change: +0.25, Percent Change: +0.77
