PEPE Builds Upside Momentum as Retail Demand Strengthens Across the Market

  • Retail demand remains strong as PEPE futures Open Interest rises steadily.
  • Declining exchange supply suggests reduced selling pressure across the market.
  • Triangle breakout above $0.00000476 could target higher resistance levels.

PEPE is beginning to gain attention again after recovering from a recent pullback. Although price action remains trapped inside a consolidation pattern, buyers continue to show interest. Retail traders appear to be leading the latest push higher, even as larger holders take a more cautious approach. On-chain metrics, futures activity, and improving technical indicators now suggest momentum is building. As a result, traders are closely watching for a potential breakout in the days ahead.

Retail Demand Continues to Support PEPE

PEPE is showing mixed signals across the market. Whale participation has softened slightly in recent weeks. Large holders still control most of the circulating supply, but ownership among smaller investor groups continues to grow. That shift suggests retail traders are becoming more active. While whales reduced holdings marginally, wallets holding between 100 million and 1 billion PEPE expanded their positions.

Growing participation from smaller investors often helps strengthen market sentiment during recovery phases. Another encouraging sign comes from exchange supply. The percentage of PEPE held on exchanges has fallen noticeably. Lower exchange balances often reduce immediate selling pressure because fewer tokens remain readily available for sale. At the same time, the percentage of supply in profit has increased. This reflects stronger recovery conditions but also introduces some risk.

Investors sitting on gains may decide to lock in profits if momentum slows. Futures data reveals continued demand from speculative traders. Open Interest increased during the past 24 hours, showing fresh positions entering the market. Funding rates also improved, signaling weaker demand for bearish trades. Together, these metrics point to steady confidence among retail participants.

Technical Setup Favors a Breakout Attempt

PEPE currently trades near $0.00000450 after recovering most of Thursday’s losses. Price remains compressed within a symmetrical triangle pattern. Such formations often precede strong directional moves once resistance or support breaks. The upper boundary of the pattern sits near $0.00000476. A successful breakout above that level could trigger a stronger rally.

Beyond that level, Fibonacci extension zones highlight additional objectives near $0.00000617 and $0.00000737. Reaching those areas would require sustained buying pressure and broader market support. Momentum indicators currently favor the bulls. The MACD remains above the signal line and continues trending higher. Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index sits around 60. That reading suggests growing strength without entering overbought territory.

Support levels remain important if buyers lose control. The first area sits near $0.00000414. A deeper pullback could bring attention toward $0.00000364, which marked an important low earlier this month. For now, PEPE appears to be building a constructive foundation. Retail traders continue adding exposure, futures activity remains healthy, and selling pressure has eased.

$33.5 billion! This Amazon number has "shocked" the market

Amazon's free cash flow in Q3 plummeted to -$33.5 billion, four times higher than the market expectation of -$7.7 billion. The sharp decline was caused by the dual impact of $77.3 billion in capital expenditures and $48.1 billion in new debt in a single quarter. Although AWS's growth rate reached a five-year high of 39.3%, it still fell short of buy-side expectations, and its profit margin declined. The Q4 operating profit guidance of $31 billion was entirely below Wall Street and buy-side forecasts. The core issue is that for every $1 earned by AWS, nearly $4 in new spending is tied to it.

Hedge funds are amplifying the risks of tech stocks!

Hedge funds are quietly making a risky strategic shift—from shorting individual stocks to shorting indices. This transition is accelerating the rise in stock correlations, and the “anti-leverage” buffer that once dampened volatility is disappearing. According to Goldman Sachs data, funds’ short exposure to indices and ETFs has reached a ten-year high. The VIX faces the risk of disorderly surges, and vulnerability to deep stock price declines is quietly accumulating.
