The Actual Connection Between Yellow and XRP
A subscriber’s question prompted a closer examination of the relationship between Yellow Network and XRP. Crypto commentator X Finance Bull recently shared his findings on X, outlining connections between the two that go beyond what many observers may realize.
Chris Larsen Led the Seed Round
The connection starts at the top. Ripple co-founder and executive chairman Chris Larsen led Yellow Network’s $10M seed round. That institutional backing came early, before Yellow built out its current ecosystem.
Yellow then integrated the XRPL EVM Sidechain, and XRP is already listed in Yellow’s production documentation. XRP and USDT are supported on XRPL EVM, chain ID 1440000.
Developers building on Yellow can already create financial applications with XRP as part of the environment.
How Yellow’s Architecture Works
Yellow uses state channels to handle trading activity. Brokers, exchanges, and AI agents move balances off-chain inside funded channels, then settle the final result on-chain. Participants trade repeatedly without sending every transaction to a blockchain.
X Finance Bull notes that this structure becomes significant when XRP liquidity enters it. A market maker could hold XRP as working inventory inside these applications. A broker could keep XRP balances available for customer trades. An AI trading agent could hold XRP, rebalance positions, or use it in multiparty settlement.
Yellow’s Push Into Autonomous Finance
Yellow has expanded its focus on AI-driven finance through several strategic partnerships. It teamed up with Deep3 Labs to develop AI-powered trading capabilities and joined Internet Court, led by the GenLayer Foundation, to support settlement between multiple AI agents.
Its partnership with MOI Technology also enables agents to operate within predefined limits on position sizes, approved markets, and budgets. In addition, Yellow connected to Arc, Circle’s stablecoin network, while listing the XRP Ledger (XRPL) among its connected ecosystems.
The Volume Scenarios
X Finance Bull ran the numbers on potential XRP demand. At a hypothetical $1B daily Yellow-connected volume, with 20% involving XRP and liquidity providers holding two days of inventory, the model produces roughly 289.86M XRP held as working capital at $1.38.
At $5 billion daily volume, that figure reaches approximately 1.45B XRP. The analyst notes clearly that these are scenarios, not current Yellow volumes.
Two Different Assets, One Relationship
X Finance Bull separates the two assets precisely. $YELLOW carries a fixed 10B max supply and functions as access and collateral within Yellow’s own services. XRP serves as gas on XRPL EVM and can function as trading liquidity, channel balances, and settlement capital when applications choose it.
The analyst’s thesis does not depend on Yellow’s fee structure generating benefits for XRP. Instead, he believes Yellow could attract more applications, market makers, and autonomous agents into XRP markets. As activity grows, these participants could have greater reasons to hold and use XRP.
As X Finance Bull put it: “$YELLOW is building the network. $XRP could become working capital inside it.”

After Being Selected, the Data Center Pricing Logic Has Changed! Saying Goodbye to Disorderly Expansion, Shifting Focus from Competing for Growth to Competing for Scarcity
JPMorgan points out that after the US midterm elections, the pricing logic in the data center industry has quietly reversed. Out of 45 restriction measures, 42 were passed, and new projects in core states such as Texas and Georgia face the threat of suspension. The premium for completed and approved assets has risen significantly. Among these, 78% of high-yield development pipelines are concentrated in Texas, and projects scheduled for 2028 and beyond will face the most pressure. The industry is shifting from an expansion narrative to a new cycle focused on permit certainty and the repricing of operational assets.
