CrowdStrike CEO: Patching PHP Flaw is 'Critical' Race -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/10/23 18:451445 ET - "This is a big one," CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz says of a newly discovered vulnerability within PHP, a widely used technology powering websites and apps. The vulnerability, discovered with the help of AI, has set off a race to patch the technology before it can be exploited by bad actors. "One of the things that we're telling anyone - enterprises, small companies, etc. - that you need to be looking at your watch, not a calendar, when you're thinking about patching this," Kurtz says in a CNBC interview. "It is that critical at the moment." (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
