12:40 PM EDT, 10/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Zentalis Pharmaceuticals (ZNTL) on Friday presented the first overall survival results for its experimental ovarian cancer drug azenosertib. In an interim analysis of the DENALI Part 1b study, patients whose tumors tested positive for Cyclin E1, a protein linked to aggressive cancer growth, lived a median of 15.9 months, versus 7.5 months for those who tested negative. Among 43 evaluable Cyclin E1-positive patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, a disease that returns within six months of platinum chemotherapy, 37.2% saw tumors shrink by a predefined amount, known as objective response rate. Median duration of response was 5.5 months. The company said the data support its ongoing DENALI Part 2 and ASPENOVA phase 3 trials. Price: 2.27, Change: -0.15, Percent Change: -6.02
