05:17 PM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Granite (GVA) said late Thursday it won a $11 million contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers to build a BAK-12/14 aircraft arresting system at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Florida. Project work includes building and installing the aircraft arresting system, according to a statement. Construction is expected to be completed in Q4 2027, the company said.
