02:26 PM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Heritage Financial (HFWA) board on Wednesday approved the repurchase of up to 2 million shares, or 5% of its outstanding shares, the company said Thursday. This replaces a prior April 2024 buyback program that authorized the repurchase of 1.7 million shares, the company said. Shares of Heritage Financial rose 3% in Thursday trading. Price: 28.52, Change: +0.84, Percent Change: +3.02
