Uber Rolling Out ChatGPT Work to More Than 30,000 Employees

01:00 PM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Uber Technologies (UBER) said Thursday it is rolling out OpenAI's ChatGPT Work, an AI agent within ChatGPT Enterprise, to more than 30,000 employees, up from a pilot of 1,000. The company called it its first company-wide deployment of an agentic platform for knowledge work. The tool links with Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar and Slack, and will run on OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol model by default. Uber said it will back the rollout with an internal AI skills library and employee training. Engineers will continue to use OpenAI's Codex.
