Netflix, Hoichoi Sign Exclusive Streaming Partnership in India

11:05 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Netflix (NFLX) said Thursday it signed an exclusive partnership with Bengali streaming platform Hoichoi to carry its new series and adapt some of its stories for Netflix audiences in India. All Hoichoi series premiering over the next two years will stream on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, with 14 existing titles added, the company said. The first new title to arrive is The Cursed Temple of Kauriburi, a folklore horror series premiering Nov. 6, with the two platforms also planning original series adapted from Hoichoi stories, Netflix said.
