Cheniere Energy Subsidiaries Sign Agreements to Supply LNG to QatarEnergy

09:41 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cheniere Energy (LNG) subsidiaries Sabine Pass Liquefaction and Corpus Christi Liquefaction have entered into long-term liquefied natural gas sale and purchase agreements with QatarEnergy to supply a total of 4 million metric tons per year of the fuel through 2054, the company said Thursday. Under the agreements, QatarEnerg will purchase 4 million metric tons per year of LNG from each subsidiary on a free-on-board basis at a price indexed to the Henry Hub price plus a fixed fee, according to a statement. Deliveries will begin in the early 2030s and continue through the end of 2054, with 1 million metric tons per year of the agreement with Sabine Pass Liquefaction subject to the positive final investment decision of the first phase of Cheniere's SPL Expansion Project, the company said.
