SAGA Metals Completes Maiden Drill Program at Wolverine Rare Earth Project

04:10 PM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SAGA Metals (SAGA.V) said Wednesday it completed its first diamond drill program at its Wolverine Heavy Rare Earth Element Project in Labrador, Canada. The program included 22 drill holes totaling 3,241 meters, marking the first systematic diamond drilling on the property, the company said, adding that holes W26-001 and W26-002 have been fully logged and sampled. "Early indications of structurally controlled, sub vertical epithermal-style mineralization with potential depth extent," the company said. Saga said it will continue logging and sampling the remaining drill holes before submitting samples for laboratory assays. The company will also integrate geological mapping data with the drill results. An induced polarization survey is planned for the second quarter of 2027, with the combined geological and assay results expected to help identify targets for a follow-up drill program focused on the downward extensions of the interpreted hydrothermal feeders into potential source rocks, the company said. Shares of Saga Metals were down 1.61% at CA$0.305 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
