01:56 PM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ashford Hospitality Trust (AHT) shares surged 39% a day after the company said its adviser, Ashford, agreed to waive about $17 million in advisory fees and committed to purchase 2.5% of the trust's outstanding common stock each quarter in the open market, beginning with an initial commitment of about 162,000 shares. Intraday volume topped 26.6 million shares, compared with the daily average of 26,435. Super Micro Computer (SMCI) shares rose 9.5% a day after the company reported preliminary fiscal Q1 revenue and margin results above prior guidance. Volume topped 60.5 million shares, compared with the daily average of 44.8 million. CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD) and Nvidia (NVDA) are collaborating to extend AI-native security to hardware. Under the arrangement, CrowdStrike will integrate its Falcon Guardian AI detection and response tool into NVIDIA OpenShell secure runtime software and plans to integrate with NVIDIA Sentry for in-silicon security.
