12:18 PM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Equifax's (EFX) stock is expected to remain sensitive to interest rate movements, regulatory headline risks, and the broader consumer lending narrative in the near term, RBC Capital Markets analysts said in a Tuesday note. Equifax reported Q3 adjusted earnings of $2.26 per diluted share, ahead of $2.20 in a FactSet poll. Analysts said that the company's Q4 guidance missed expectations, driven primarily by weakness in the mortgage market. RBC said Equifax's Diversified Verifier outperformance and narrative of artificial intelligence cost savings resonated well with the market. Analysts expect the company to report 2027 adjusted earnings of $9 per share, compared with a FactSet estimate of $9.68. RBC maintained an outperform rating and a $177 price target on the stock.
