According to information from Zhitong Finance APP, US-headquartered advanced semiconductor packaging company Amkor Technology (AMKR.US) has announced a significant agreement worth up to $1.3 billion with “AI chip superpower” NVIDIA (NVDA.US) to expand its 2.5D/3D advanced packaging capacity in South Korea. Following this news, the company's share price rose about 10% in pre-market trading on Wednesday.
