Einride to Test Nvidia AI Model for Autonomous Trucks

MT newswireMT newswire2026/10/21 12:45
08:45 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Einride (ENRD) said Wednesday it will work with Nvidia (NVDA) to deploy the Alpamayo AI reasoning driving model for its Einride Driver autonomous truck system. The company said it plans to train the model on proprietary operational data and evaluate it in shadow mode, without allowing it to control vehicles. The collaboration aims to reduce development time and costs when expanding to new vehicle types and routes, Einride said. A live road evaluation is planned for H2 of 2027, the company said. Einride shares were down 4.8% in premarket activity Wednesday, while Nvidia was up 1.6%.
