Roivant Sciences' Brepocitinib Achieves Primary Endpoint in Two Phase 3 Trials in Non-Infectious Uveitis

07:40 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Roivant Sciences' (ROIV) brepocitinib achieved its primary endpoint, along with key secondary endpoints, in two phase 3 trials of non-infectious uveitis, the company said Wednesday. The two trials enrolled 371 patients, with a primary endpoint of time to treatment failure from week six through week 48, Roivant said. Median time to treatment failure was more than 48 weeks for brepocitinib patients in both studies, compared with about 12 weeks for placebo patients, with both results statistically significant. Secondary endpoints include sustained steroid-free quiescence and improvement in chorioretinal vascular leakage, among others, the company added. Roivant also said brepocitinib was generally well tolerated over the studies' treatment period, with no new safety signals observed. The company's Priovant Therapeutics unit plans to file a supplemental new drug application for brepocitinib in non-infectious uveitis in H1 2027, according to the statement. Roivant Sciences shares were up more than 8% premarket Wednesday.
