Nvidia Unveils Product to Speed Up AI Factory Buildout -- WSJ

Nvidia is introducing a new product it says will make it easier and faster for companies to generate tokens and earn revenue from AI factories.
The company said its new DSX POD comes in units that customers will be able to connect to a site's power, cooling, networking and other supporting infrastructure, reducing deployment time from six months to as little as 14 days.
A note on AI factories vs. data centers: they aren't the same thing.
Data centers are built for general-purpose computing, while AI factories do more than store and process data. They use massive clusters of graphic processing units to train models and transform raw data into real-time intelligence or tokens.
Nvidia said it was working with several computing and infrastructure partners to deliver modular AI factories worldwide in early 2027.
