Nvidia Launches OpenShell Framework for AI Agent Security

06:27 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia (NVDA) has launched a new architecture for securing enterprise artificial intelligence agents, the company said Wednesday. The OpenShell Reference Architecture combines Nvidia's OpenShell runtime software with Vera Rubin computing infrastructure, Vera CPUs and BlueField-4 data processing units, Nvidia said. The company said its Sentry security software can isolate and stop agents that operate outside their authorized boundaries. The architecture is available for enterprise and edge deployments and supports major operating systems, cloud platforms and container environments, Nvidia said. Nvidia shares were 1.5% higher in premarket activity.
