06:27 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia (NVDA) launched DSX POD, a reference design for partner-built modular containers for Nvidia Vera Rubin artificial intelligence factories, the company said Wednesday. The company said it is working with Dell Technologies (DELL), Eaton (ETN), HPE (HPE), Vertiv (VRT) and others to deliver DSX POD AI factories globally in early 2027. In a separate statement, Nvidia said European partners are adopting its full-stack DSX AI factory reference architecture to reduce cooling water consumption by up to 100% and produce the same AI output using up to 30% less power. The platform also aims to accelerate capacity deployment and adapt workload power consumption to support grid reliability, it said. Shares of the company were up more than 1% in pre-bell activity on Wednesday.

Texas Governor-Elect: Data centers must be suspended until measures to protect the interests of the people are introduced

The newly elected governor of Texas, Hinojosa, publicly stated that she despises the way data centers "take advantage of Texans" and that any measures must be paused before the introduction of new data centers. She also expressed willingness to collaborate with tech giants such as Elon Musk but emphasized that "it must be on our terms." Goldman Sachs previously warned that the current "blue wave" could result in a suspension order affecting the expansion capacity of approximately 45% of data centers across the United States, with Texas accounting for about 25%. Other states are also rushing to follow Texas' lead.
