L3Harris Opens Camden Rocket Motor Plant to Double Capacity

05:46 PM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- L3Harris Technologies Inc (LHX) said on Tuesday it opened a new solid rocket motor production facility in Camden, Arkansas, designed to double current capacity, with additional growth available. The facility will support production for the US Army's Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System and centralizes production of the motors that power it, the company said. Its completion is part of a $216 million cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense signed in 2023. L3Harris said it is executing additional expansion projects at Camden, including two new facilities to support PAC-3 propulsion production.
