Analyst Ali Martinez Says XRP Bottom Is In. Here’s why
A single night of on-chain activity has put XRP back in focus. Transaction volume on the XRP Ledger surged to levels not recently seen, and the timing relative to price action has caught the attention of crypto analyst Ali Martinez (@ali_charts).
Transaction Volume Explodes Overnight
The total dollar value of coins transferred on the XRP Ledger reached $49.70 billion in a single night. That figure represents a dramatic departure from prior periods. Martinez shared a bar chart sourced from Santiment showing transaction volume across five comparable intervals.
The first four bars sit near the baseline. The fourth towers above them, reaching $49.66 billion according to the chart labels. The surge happened while XRP hovered around $1.25.
The $1.25 Level
Martinez identified $1.25 as a critical support level. He noted that the spike in on-chain activity coincided with a rebound in price at that level. His post stated that “this surge in on-chain activity around such a critical support level suggests that $1.25 could mark the bottom.”
High transaction volume at a support level is significant in on-chain analysis. It suggests active participation at that price point rather than a passive drift lower. When volume concentrates at a level and price holds, analysts read it as confirmation of demand. It could also be a sign that traders are anticipating a big move.
Watching the On-Chain Volume
On-chain transaction volume reflects real economic activity on a blockchain. A surge of nearly $50 billion in a single night is not routine. The fact that it occurred at a defined support level gives analysts a concrete reference point.
The Santiment chart Martinez posted tracks transaction volume from October 15-19. The first four days show volume clustered near the bottom of the scale. The volume experienced a sharp upward break on October 19, reaching the top of the chart.
The Path Forward
Martinez stated that XRP “could be on track for a bull rally toward $2” as long as the $1.25 support continues to hold. He posted his conclusion directly: “The bottom is in.”
That target would represent a significant move from the $1.25 level. That level now serves as a critical support for XRP. Whether the support holds remains to be seen, and it will determine the asset’s next move. Martinez tied his outlook explicitly to the price staying above $1.25.
