Guardian Exploration Finishes 2026 Exploration Program at Mount Cameron Project

11:05 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Guardian Exploration (GX.V) completed its 2026 exploration program at its Mount Cameron Project in the Mayo Mining District of central Yukon, it said Tuesday. The program marked the company's first diamond drilling at the Clark occurrence, said the company. The program also included detailed mapping and sampling of the Marten occurrence, reconnaissance geological mapping of previously unmapped areas, airborne geophysical and LiDAR surveys, and recovery and relogging of historical drill core, added the company. "We are particularly excited to receive assay results from the newly exposed and sampled Marten outcrop, which could help identify additional opportunities for future exploration," said Chief Executive Officer Graydon Kowal. "With new geophysical data, expanded mapping and a clear strategy for 2027, we believe Mount Cameron offers significant exploration potential." The company's shares last traded Oct. 16, closing at CA$0.10 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
