Telus Offering Scam Protection in New Data Plans

10:56 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Telus (T.TO) is offering "comprehensive" scam protection across calls, texts and emails in all its new mobility data plans, the company said on Tuesday. The partnership with Norton will provide Telus customers a tool to better identify and block scam calls and flag suspicious messages on their phone. It will also offer 24/7 on-demand access to a chat-based assistant for digital safety information, a statement said.
