Devonian Health Gets Health Canada Authorization for Thykamine Clinical Trial in Breast Cancer Patients

09:49 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Devonian Health Group (GSD.V) received authorization from the Health Canada to evaluate novel Thykamine Formulation for the prevention of radiodermatitis in breast cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy, it said in a statement on Tuesday. The company was authorized to initiate a 150-patient, randomized, double-blind, multicenter clinical study evaluating a new proprietary Thykamine 0.1% formulation. Devonian plans to evaluate a medical-device regulatory pathway that could offer a "more focused and capital-efficient" development strategy, it said. The company's shares last traded Oct. 16, closing at CA$7.1 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
