Synaptics Launches Astra SR200 Multimodal Edge AI Processors

09:48 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Synaptics (SYNA) has launched its Astra SR200 Series of multimodal Edge AI microcontrollers, with three pin-compatible product lines, the company said Tuesday. The Astra SR200 series is backed by the Synaptics Torq AI engine and features the pairing of Arm Cortex-M85 and Cortex-M52 processors, the company added. Synaptics also said the Astra SR200 is intended for AI wearables, battery-powered sensing devices, connected cameras, streamers, and industrial vision and voice systems.
