Labcorp to Buy Myriad Genetics' Prenatal Health Testing Business for $210 Million

09:20 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Labcorp (LH) has agreed to buy Myriad Genetics' (MYGN) prenatal health testing business for $210 million in cash, plus the value of inventory at closing, the companies said Tuesday. Myriad's prenatal health portfolio includes the Prequel, Foresight, SneakPeek and FirstGene tests, according to a statement. Labcorp said it expects the acquisition to add about $160 million in revenue and to be slightly accretive to adjusted earnings in the first year. Myriad said the sale is expected to improve revenue growth and profitability while strengthening its balance sheet and supporting further investment in cancer care. The deal is subject to regulatory clearance and customary closing conditions, and is expected to close by early 2027, the companies said. Myriad Genetics shares were up more than 25% in premarket activity Tuesday.
