AGCO, Agility Robotics Sign Deal for Humanoid Robot Manufacturing Pilot

09:05 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AGCO (AGCO) said Tuesday it has signed a commercial agreement with Agility Robotics to deploy humanoid robots at its Hesston, Kansas production facility starting in 2027. The Digit robots will handle repetitive tasks such as parts sorting and stacking, aiming to improve efficiency and worker safety while freeing employees to focus on higher-value work, the company said. Agility's AI-powered Digit robots adapt to changing workflows and are managed through its cloud-based Agility Arc platform, the company said. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
