Lyntris Granted $6.5 Million Expansion of US Navy Drone Contract

08:46 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lyntris (LYNX) has agreed to a $6.5 million expansion of its maritime tactical command and control contract with the US Navy to develop a precision formation flight capability, the defense company said Tuesday. The new capability requires Lyntris' autonomy technology to be combined with Robinson Unmanned's Spartan aerial drone, Lyntris said. Lyntris plans to integrate its Dragonflight autonomy into Spartan to allow for precision three-dimensional formation flights, the company said. Lyntris and Robinson Unmanned plan to stage a demonstration of the technology later this year, the company said.
