Lincoln Electric Unveils XpertLINC Physical AI Technology for Automation

07:50 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lincoln Electric (LECO) launched XpertLINC, an AI-supported platform that adapts robotic welding paths and settings to accommodate part variations and improve productivity and quality, the company said Tuesday. The platform combines vision, motion control and welding expertise to operate without programming or computer-aided design files. It scans parts and adjusts welding parameters based on joint conditions and customer specifications, the company said. XpertLINC will initially be available on Lincoln Electric's Cooper welding cobots before expanding across the company's automated cutting and welding solutions. The company plans to demonstrate the platform at FABTECH 2026 from Oct. 21 to 23, it added.
