Amazon.com to Invest Over $17.94 Billion in Germany Next Year

05:55 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com (AMZN) intends to invest more than 16 billion euros ($17.94 billion) in Germany next year, the company said Tuesday. The investments will include data center and AI infrastructure expansion, high-speed satellite connectivity through Amazon Leo, new logistics projects, and new content for Prime Video, including more than 15 productions coming to Germany through the end of 2027. Of the planned investment, 4.8 billion euros will be dedicated to expanding AWS Europe (Frankfurt) Region, Amazon said.
