IOTA Price Prediction: Can a Falling Wedge Rebound Target $2.40?

IOTA Price Prediction: Can a Falling Wedge Rebound Target $2.40?

CoinpediaCoinpedia2026/10/19 21:57
Story Highlights
  • IOTA trades near $0.0443 on the weekly chart, with a projected rebound toward $0.105 as the first major upside target.

  • The bullish scenario identifies additional targets at $0.265, $0.42, $0.64, $1.56, and $2.40.

  • The falling-wedge rebound remains speculative until price action confirms a reversal above descending resistance.

IOTA is flashing a potential rebound signal on its weekly chart, but don’t mistake a bullish drawing for a confirmed breakout. The $IOTA chart shows a prolonged decline, several descending trendlines, and a series of horizontal price targets stretching from $0.105 to $2.40. The big question is whether buyers can turn this battered price structure into a meaningful recovery.

IOTA Price Prediction Hinges on a Critical Reversal

That’s an ambitious scenario. The chart presents a technical possibility, not proof that a rally is underway. The drawn projection also doesn’t establish when such a move might happen.

Five Price Levels Put Bulls Under Pressure

The chart identifies five upside targets: $0.105, $0.265, $0.42, $0.64, $1.56, and $2.40. The first major marked level, $0.105, sits above the current price and would be an important hurdle in the proposed recovery.

Beyond that, $0.265 and $0.42 mark further milestones, followed by $0.64. The higher targets at $1.56 and $2.40 represent a much more aggressive bullish outcome.

Still, targets drawn on a chart aren’t absolute guarantees. IOTA would need to overcome the descending resistance shown by the trendlines before the larger projection could gain credibility.

Falling Wedge Narrative Needs Actual Confirmation

The chart’s central argument is that IOTA may be preparing to rebound around a falling-wedge structure. Yet the displayed price action reflects an extended downtrend, with repeated declines and lower trading levels across several years.

That history makes confirmation crucial. A sustained move above descending resistance would provide a stronger technical signal than a curved arrow predicting a dramatic rally.

IOTA’s Recovery Case Remains a Speculative Bet

The project’s stated relevance to managing data from billions of connected devices provides the narrative accompanying the bullish chart. But technological relevance alone doesn’t establish future token performance.

For now, the IOTA price prediction rests on whether the market can turn the current area near $0.0443 into a launchpad for recovery. The $0.105 level is an early target; $2.40 remains the far end of the bullish scenario. Until price confirms the reversal, optimism is still a projection, not a result.

Texas Governor-Elect: Data centers must be suspended until measures to protect the interests of the people are introduced

The newly elected governor of Texas, Hinojosa, publicly stated that she despises the way data centers "take advantage of Texans" and that any measures must be paused before the introduction of new data centers. She also expressed willingness to collaborate with tech giants such as Elon Musk but emphasized that "it must be on our terms." Goldman Sachs previously warned that the current "blue wave" could result in a suspension order affecting the expansion capacity of approximately 45% of data centers across the United States, with Texas accounting for about 25%. Other states are also rushing to follow Texas' lead.
