FirstService's Century Fire Protection Acquires A&A Fire Protection for Undisclosed Sum

05:27 PM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- FirstService (FSV.TO) after trade Monday said that its subsidiary, Century Fire Protection, acquired A&A Fire Protection. Deal terms were not disclosed, according to the statement. The company said A&A President Jake Gilstrap will continue to oversee daily operations and retain a minority ownership stake. "This acquisition furthers Century's strategy of enhancing its scale and broadening its client base in existing markets," Century Fire Protection Chief Executive Richard Deeb said. Shares of FirstService closed down 1.9% at CA$188.62 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
