Bluesky Digital Assets Will Not Proceed With ChessGold Acquisition

05:24 PM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bluesky Digital Assets (BTC.CN) said after trade on Monday that it will not proceed with its proposed acquisition of digital games developer ChessGold and "fundamental change" transaction. Both parties were not able to meet the financial requirements for equity financing, a statement said. The proposed acquisition was first announced on April 17, this year. Bluesky will resume activities in the technology sector, while searching for new opportunities to enhance shareholder value, the statement added. Bluesky Chief Executive Officer Ben Gelfand stepped down, effective immediately. Alan Grant, board chair, was appointed as interim chief executive officer.
