FreightCar America Reports Q3 Preliminary Results, Lowers Full-Year 2026 Outlook

05:05 PM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- FreightCar America (RAIL) said late Monday it expects to deliver 662 railcar units in Q3, compared with 1,304 units a year earlier. The company expects Q3 revenue of $75 million to $77 million, compared with $160.5 million a year ago. Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $134.5 million. It now expects to deliver 3,100 to 3,300 railcars in 2026, down from its prior outlook of 3,500 to 3,900 railcars. FreightCar America expects full-year revenue of $370 million to $410 million, down from its prior guidance of $410 million to $460 million. Three analysts expect $445.1 million. The company is scheduled to report Q3 results on Nov. 9.
