Haemonetics Gets US FDA Approval for PerQseal Elite Vascular Closure System

05:00 PM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Haemonetics (HAE) has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its PerQseal Elite vascular closure system for large-bore arterial procedures used in structural heart and endovascular interventions, the company said late Monday. The ELITE clinical study showed no major device-related vascular access site complications through 30 days and a mean time to hemostasis of less than one minute, the company said. Haemonetics plans to present clinical data on the system at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics conference in late October.
