Sage Potash Reports Jump in Resource Estimate For Sage Plain Potash Project in Utah

02:32 PM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sage Potash (SAGE.V) on Monday announced a jump in its potash resource estimates after completing its Summer 2026 drill program at Sage Plain Potash Project in Utah. The new estimate includes measured potash resource of 54.3-million tonnes grading 41.31% potassium chloride (KCl) and indicated potash resource of 171.8-million tonnes grading 41.37% KCl, for a total of 226-million tonnes at 41.36% KCl in measured and indicated, a statement said. The estimate also calculated an additional 545.4-million tonnes at 41.53% KCl in the inferred category, up from 298.1 million tonnes in September last year, the statement added. Sage Chief Executive Officer Pat Varas said the new mineral resource estimate validated the project's potash resources. "The upgraded estimate provides a strong foundation for our next core objective: completing a Pre-Feasibility Study to demonstrate the viability and economic metrics of the Sage Plain Potash Project. We will now focus on optimizing the mining and processing plans, including the potential to scale up the project substantially from the preliminary economic assessment reported in September 2025," Varas said.
