Mako Mining Reports Q3 Production Results From San Albino and Moss Mine

MT newswireMT newswire2026/10/19 17:42
01:42 PM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mako Mining (MKO.V) reported on Monday that its San Albino gold mine in northern Nicaragua processed 53,046 tonnes of mineralized material at an average gold grade of 6.66 grams per tonne (g/t) in the third quarter, down slightly from the 53,120 tonnes milled in the prior quarter. Its San Albino mine sold 8,768 ounces of gold at an average realized price of $4,285 per ounce, down from 10,612 ounces at $4,156 per ounce in the prior quarter, it said. The company's Moss Mine in Arizona recovered about 3,599 ounces of gold, with sales totaling about 2,812 ounces. This is down from 3,631 ounces of gold in the second quarter of 2026, when sales totaled about 3,998 ounces , it added. The company said gold recovery at Moss Mine was impacted during the quarter by longer solution return times associated with higher stacking lifts, which delayed the availability of gold-bearing solution for processing. Mako Mining also received permits from the US Forest Service (USFS) to begin condemnation drilling at the Mt. Hamilton Project once a $265,205 reclamation bond has been posted and accepted by the USFS. The company said it expects the first gold pour in December 2027. Shares of the company were last seen down 0.4% at CA$12.65 on the TSX Venture Exchange. Price: 12.61, Change: -0.09, Percent Change: -0.71
