Siemens Unveils AI Solutions With Nvidia for Autonomous Manufacturing

10:42 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia (NVDA) and Siemens' autonomous manufacturing partnership has produced its first artificial intelligence offerings, with Siemens unveiling the new solutions at its electronics factory in Erlangen, Germany, according to a Monday statement. The new solutions combine Nvidia's AI, simulation and accelerated computing technologies with Siemens' industrial software, automation and manufacturing capabilities, Siemens said. The solutions are intended to improve production planning and product development, the company added. For printed-circuit-board assemblies, Siemens said virtual production preparation could reduce engineering effort by up to 85% and cut time to market by up to 40%, while AI-based production planning could enable cost savings of up to 20%. Siemens said the companies announced in January that they would build fully AI-powered manufacturing sites and would aim to make AI the operating system of manufacturing.
